Fatal Shooting Tuesday In Front Of Vallejo Liquor Store

VALLEJO - A 19-year-old man was fatally shot in Vallejo Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

The shooting was reported in front of the Springstown Bottle Shop liquor store at 2154 Springs Road around 1 p.m.

Police responding to the scene found a young man on the ground who was transported to a hospital where he later died.

Officers searched the area but were unable to find a suspect, who was described as a Hispanic man in his late teens or early 20s with dark, puffy hair and a thin build, standing roughly 5 feet 5 inches tall.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, white t-shirt and blue jeans.
