Fire Squelched At Mi Pueblo Market In Vallejo
Another structure fire and two car fires were reported in the area this morning, officials said. (Breaking)
VALLEJO, CA – Vallejo firefighters extinguished a grease fire in the kitchen of the Mi Pueblo Market in Vallejo this morning.
The fire in an oven hood at the market on 2107 Solano Ave. was reported at 10:45 a.m., Vallejo Fire Department spokesman Kevin Brown said.
Smoke was seen on the roof but it did not burn. The market was evacuated but the store has reopened, Brown said.

The fire was confined to the hood area, which was being cleaned, Brown said.
Vallejo firefighters also responded to an apartment fire in a multi-family dwelling around 11:15 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of Colusa Street, Brown said.

The apartment fire was put out in about 30 minutes and the cause is under investigation, Brown said.
About 20 minutes earlier, firefighters responded to a suspicious fire that burned two vehicles parked in a driveway on Penny Lane, Brown said. That fire also is under investigation.
