'Herman Fire' Burning 60 Acres Between Cordelia & Benicia
Cal Fire is responding to that vegetation blaze, along with the "Red Fire," near I-80 in Cordelia.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA —Firefighters are battling two brush fires Wednesday evening in Solano County.
The Herman Fire, reported about 5:20 p.m. north of Benicia along Sky Valley Road, is 60 acres and 30 percent contained, according to Cal Fire.
A second blaze, the Red Fire, was reported about 6 p.m. near Interstate Highway 80 and Lynch Road in Cordelia. Crews are holding that fire to 2 acres, Cal Fire said.

Motorists are asked to use caution in the area give way to emergency vehicles.
