'Road To Immigration' Reform - Info Session Coming Up In Fairfield

Solano Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 5:30-7:30 p.m., Jan. 29 at St. Stephen CME Church, 2301 Union Ave. in Fairfield.

On January 29, 2015, the Solano Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is hosting a free immigration informational session entitled, “The Road to Immigration: Understanding the Executive Order,” to be held at St. Stephen CME Church, 2301 Union Avenue in Fairfield, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

This event is for community members to better understand the rules, actions being taken, its effect on families, and immigration scams. It also provides an opportunity to help immigrants gather important information about immigrating, naturalizing, and ask questions on certain issues.

Guest speakers include representatives from The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Catholic Charities of Solano County, and local immigration attorneys. Local resources will also be available before and after the session.
