Moose Lodge Offers Free Thanksgiving Lunch For Area Seniors
Free shuttle transportation from senior living facilities in Vallejo will be available.
VALLEJO, CA — Vallejo Together, Vallejo Moose Lodge No. 468 and Solano County Transit are partnering to make sure seniors have a meal on Thanksgiving Day by providing a free lunch Thursday.
SolTrans will provide free shuttle transportation from senior living facilities in Vallejo to and from the event taking place from 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the lodge at 337 Nebraska St.

The free Thanksgiving lunch is run entirely by senior volunteers.
It includes homemade decorations, donated food and desserts and live entertainment.

Vallejo Together also will prepare and deliver packaged bags to those who are not able to attend.
"Vallejo Together, the Moose Lodge as well as SolTrans are working hard at this community collaboration and are excited to bring this much needed meal to its residents," said Christine Arnold, community liaison for the Moose Lodge and Vallejo Together.
