Mountain Lion Seen In Benicia, Police Ask Residents For Caution
The mountain lion was spotted behind Duvall and Dunham courts, but has not displayed aggression toward humans or pets, police said.
BENICIA, CA – Local police are warning residents to be aware of a mountain lion that has been spotted in local neighborhoods Monday afternoon, police said.
The cat was spotted in the area behind Duvall and Dunham courts and has not displayed any aggressive behavior toward humans or pets, Benicia police reported on social media. Police warned residents walking in the area not to approach the mountain lion and to be mindful when in the area.

The mountain lion has not been aggressive toward humans or animals. However, please be mindful when walking in the area. Stay away from the mountain lion if seen and keep your dogs on leashes.
