Suspect In Drive-By Shooting Death Of Vallejo Woman Surrenders

BREAKING: The 21-year-old was gunned down last year as she was driving to work. Another suspect was previously arrested in Vacaville.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – A second suspect in the murder of a Vallejo woman last year surrendered at the Solano County Sheriff's Office Thursday, a sheriff's deputy said.

Richard Edward "Perv" Hill III, 38, of Vallejo, surrendered to a warrant for the murder of A'Tierra Westbrook, 21, in Vallejo on Aug. 3, 2015, Deputy Carrie Hollar said.

He was booked in the Solano County Jail on the murder warrant and will likely be arraigned Monday, Hollar said.

The other suspect, Isaiah Demetrius McClain, 26, of Richmond, was arrested during a traffic stop in Vacaville on Sept. 5. His preliminary hearing date is scheduled to be determined on Dec. 14.

Westbrook was fatally shot in her vehicle in the 300 block of Benicia Road as she left for work. Her white sedan struck a parked car after she was struck multiple times by gunfire and died at the scene.

Sheriff's detectives believe she was an unintended target in retaliation associated with an on-going dispute.
