Three People Walk Away From Plane Crash At Rio Vista Airport
The accident was this morning.

A plane went down near the end of a runway at the Rio Vista Municipal Airport this morning, the city’s director of public works said.
The three people aboard walked away from the crash but the plane sustained heavy damage, Rio Vista Public Works Department director David Melilli said.
The crash happened around 11 a.m. and the airport was closed until further notice.

Solano County sheriff’s Sgt. Jackson Harris said a student and flying instructor were on board. Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Lynn Lunsford said the plane was a single-engine Cessna 182 that went down under unknown circumstances in a canal.
One of three people on board suffered a minor injury, Lunsford said.
