BERKELEY, CA — The Berkeley Police Department announced the arrest of two carjacking suspects, and the recovery of the victim's car and other personal property.

Police report that in early January, two suspects approached a woman in the 1800 block of University and began hitting her in the face. The suspects stole her bag, which contained her car key. The pair got into the victim's vehicle and drove away.

"When officers located the vehicle, the two suspects were sitting inside the vehicle's front driver and passenger sides," police said in a statement.
