2 UC Berkeley Grads To Play In Super Bowl LX
The two are on the roster for the matchup between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks.
BERKELEY, CA — Some familiar Cal names are on the roster in Sunday’s Super Bowl LX between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium.
Two of the players on the New England Patriots played for the California Golden Bears before making it to the biggest stage of the National Football League.

- Jaylinn Hawkins — a 28-year-old safety who played for Cal from 2015 to 2019. He was selected in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons. He had a career-high 10 tackles against Stanford while at Cal in 2016.
- Craig Woodson is a 24-year-old rookie and safety for the Patriots. He played at Cal from 2019 to 2024 and was drafted in the fourth round by the Patriots. During his 46-game career with Cal, he accumulated 245 tackles.
