The Super Bowl is back in the Bay Area and there are numerous events to get everyone hyped during the week before the game.

The Super Bowl is returning to the Bay Area Sunday, and the week leading up to the kickoff has a ton of events to get everyone fired up for the big game.

Super Bowl 60 is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.

However, the celebratory events and activities will kick off during the week preceding the game.

For those looking for Super Bowl LX photo opportunities, two primary locations will be available: the area near Harry Bridges Plaza, directly across from the Ferry Terminal Building, and the Ferry Terminal Plaza, located at the intersection of Mission Street and The Embarcadero.

Beyond these main spots, large-format LX roman numerals are being installed throughout the region to greet residents and visitors, with high-profile installations planned for San Francisco International Airport (SFO), San Jose County Airport, Pier 39, the Capital Corridor (specifically the Emeryville transit station), various sites in the city of Santa Clara, and SFMOMA, which is also the location for the BAHC Super Bowl LX Innovation Summit.

Super Bowl Media Center

The Moscone Center West Building will host the Super Bowl Media Center, which functions as the central hub for all official press conferences and media activities during Super Bowl Week. This facility will be the base for thousands of credentialed journalists, covering all types of media—broadcast, digital, radio, print, and social—as well as representatives from future Super Bowl and Draft host cities, league partners, and sponsors.

The Media Center is set to open on Sunday, February 2nd, and will be accessible to the media 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, until it closes on Monday, February 9th, following the Most Valuable Player recognition and the Super Bowl hand-off press conferences.

Super Bowl Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade

This unique public appearance is the only opportunity for fans to hear directly from the Super Bowl players and coaches before the big game, featuring two back-to-back viewing sessions for the AFC and NFC champion appearances, allowing attendees to cheer on their conference team and immediately become part of the Super Bowl energy. Fans interested in attending must first download and register on the NFL OnePass app starting December 10, though entry will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis and is not guaranteed.

BAHC Live! San Francisco Fan Zone at Yerba Buena Gardens and YBCA Forum

The BAHC Live! San Francisco Fan Zone at Yerba Buena Gardens is a vibrant, community-focused "Best of the Bay" fan fest celebrating Bay Area culture and football. The event features a flag football match between the AFC and NFC, showcasing the sport's elite athleticism and competitive nature just before its debut at the LA28 Olympics. This updated format allows the league's top athletes to compete during the NFL's biggest week, with their families, friends, and select fans present. It also serves as a highly anticipated televised event for all fans, marking the conclusion of the season.

The televised event will be broadcast live from the Moscone Center South Building on Tuesday, February 3rd. This venue will be transformed into a vibrant flag football arena. Coverage of the Pro Bowl Games powered by Verizon starts on ESPN at 6:30 p.m. ET, with the flag football game kicking off at 8:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, February 3rd. The game will be available to watch on ESPN, Disney XD, and ESPN Deportes.

Chinatown Lunar New Year Block Party

The Ferry Terminal Building will be the site of a Super Bowl Projection Show each evening from Thursday, February 5, through Saturday, February 7. Using a series of illustrations, the show will transform the building into a time machine, guiding fans through the last sixty years of the Super Bowl and concluding with this year's game in the Bay Area.

In between shows, an interactive element will allow fans to vote for their favorite team to "take over" the prestigious Vince Lombardi Trophy, gauging real-time fandom.
