BERKELEY, CA — Berkeley police say they arrested three separate drivers suspected of driving under the influence and fleeing the scene after crashing Monday night.
Police did not say where each suspected hit-and-run happened or where the suspects were located.
But it happened Monday night, somewhere within city limits, according to a social media post by the Berkeley Police Department.
"Three separate hit-and-run collisions resulted in three DUI arrests, underscoring the serious dangers of impaired driving and the importance of responsible behavior behind the wheel," the Berkeley Police Department said in the post.
It's also an example of how officers are focused on "reducing collisions and protecting everyone who travels through Berkeley," police said.
"If you drive, drive sober," the Berkeley Police Department said. "If you see something, say something. Let's work together to keep our streets safe"
