Berkeley Dry Cleaners Goes Up in Flames

Pressed for details, fire investigators report they are still probing the cause.

BERKELEY, CA — Firefighters were called to a structure fire in Berkeley Tuesday morning, according to fire officials.

Deputy Chief Donna McCracken said the fire was reported at 12:29 a.m. at a dry cleaners in the 1300 block of University Avenue.

McCracken said the fire has been knocked down, and the cause is under investigation.
