Berkeley Man Arrested At Ashby BART Station

BERKELEY, CA — A 59-year-old man was arrested Saturday night at BART's Ashby station in Berkeley for making criminal threats, BART police said today.

The threats were reported to police at 8:46 p.m. Witnesses told officers that Tyrone Lankford of Berkeley was
threatening patrons on the station platform. Police said officers found Lankford and arrested him for making
the threats and for three outstanding warrants.

Lankford was taken to the county jail.
