Botanical Felting Crafts for Kids

Make a potted felt California plant with Fiber Florist!

Saturday, November 7th, 10 - 11 AM

In this family-friendly workshop, Fiber Florist Vivian Truong will teach you the crafting skills to make your very own forever-alive felt plant. Using eco-friendly felt made from wool, acrylic and bamboo, participants will hand cut, sew, and assemble their own potted plants. Participants may choose from a variety of popular California flora including California poppies, nasturtiums, dandelions, and common yarrow to create.

Fiber Florist is based in Oakland, CA and provides an alternative to the modern floral industry by utilizing sustainable materials to recreate realistic everlasting floral arrangements, with a handmade touch.

$15 Participants, $10 Member Participants, Adult chaperone free with Garden Admission.
