If so, we have a research study at UC Berkeley that might interest you. We are conducting a research study to see if practicing certain mental exercises (“brain training”) is helpful for people who have problems with controlling their responses to emotion—that is, who often say or do things they later regret when they feel emotional. The study involves two research visits and up to six short training sessions at a computer in our lab.

We will compensate you for certain travel costs, and we will pay you $10/hour for your time spent in the two research visits. You will also have access to our training program at no cost.
