Doing Business with the Government (Hayward)

Alameda County Small Business Center - Getting Certified Government Contracts - Free Seminar - Wed, 01/20/2016 - 8:30am -11:30am

Are you thinking of expanding your business to the government sector? The federal government purchases almost $100 billion annually from small businesses, the State of California almost $10 billion. However, selling to the government is very different than selling to the private sector. This free seminar will review the certification programs that enable small and/or minority businesses need to know to sell to federal, state and local agencies. You will be shown how to successfully locate and navigate the certification processes, and how to research and bid for contract opportunities. This location is one block from the Hayward BART station, and offers free parking across the street.
