The City of Berkeley's Echo Lake Camp is located on a sweeping Alpine ridge at 7400 feet in the Lake Tahoe Basin. It's two miles from Highway 50 and 12 miles west of South Lake Tahoe. Berkeley residents enjoy reduced fees.
Echo Lake Youth Camp is held in six one-week sessions from July 11 through Aug. 29. Fees include crafts, games, three meals daily and supervised transportation to and from Berkeley. Ages 7-13.
Echo Lake Family Camp offers low-cost family accommodation and meals, plus optional excursions such as fishing and boat trips. Families can rent tent-cabins during the periods of July 1-10, Jul. 15-17, July 22-24, July 29-31 and Aug. 5-7.

Echo Lake Counselors-in-Training offers teens an opportunity to learn leadership skills and work closely with camp staff. There are six one-week sessions. Fees: $226 residents/$249 nonresidents.
