Soul Sanctuary Dance - Every Sunday Community Freestyle Dance at Ashkenaz

Soul Sanctuary Dance is Berkeley's weekly Sunday midday community dance - since 2003! All volunteer produced, and no admission fee. Our DJs spin an irresistible blend of funk, world music, positive hip hop, R&B, reggae, blues, electronica, dance classics and more to get you dancing and free your mind, body and soul. Children and teens are always appreciated on the dance floor. Everyone dances - no need to "ask" anyone to dance. Everyone dances how they want to dance -  no need to know any steps. Soul Sanctuary is a great informal workout for everyone, rejuvenating, fun, and nourishing for the soul. See you on the dance floor - shoes optional! Free organic fruit after the dance.

We invite you to pay this generosity forward for future dancers, in whatever amount or manner you choose, so that we can continue to keep this chain of gifts alive."
