In Berkeley: An Evening of Bach

Berkeley Baroque Strings Concerts - March 1 and March 6, 7:30 pm

The Berkeley Baroque Strings will present an evening of music by J.S. Bach. Music Director, Kati Kyme, will perform the “Violin Concerto in E.” Cellist William Skeen will perform the “Cantata Concerto in D,” adapted by Paul Brantley. Also on the all-Bach program will be “Brandenburg Concerto #3,” “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring,” and “Sinfonia from Cantata 75.”

The orchestra is an affiliate of the San Francisco Early Music Society.

The first concert will take place on Tuesday, March 1, 7:30pm. Admission is free. Donations gratefully accepted. The second concert is on Sunday, March 6, 7:30pm. Admission is $20; $10 senior/student.

Both concerts take place at St. Clement’s Episcopal Church, 2837 Claremont Blvd., Berkeley.
