Power Restored In Berkeley

At one point nearly 2,000 customers were without power.

BERKELEY, CA — A major power outage that impacted Berkeley Sunday evening is over, PG&E reports.

The outage started before 6 p.m. and at one point affected nearly 2,000 customers. The impacted area ran from Hopkins to Delaware streets, north to south. And from Franklin to Josephine streets, west to east.

PG&E reports that it is investigating the cause of the outage.
