Loaded Guns Seized In Berkeley, 2 Arrests
A Berkeley woman and a man from Suisun have been booked into jail on charges.

BERKELEY, CA — Two people were arrested and two loaded guns were seized by Berkeley Police on Sunday after a patrol officer spotted something fishy at the Berkeley Marina. A meth pipe and an open container of alcohol were also seized, police report.
Under arrest are 25-year-old Corina Tito-Lopez of Berkeley and 31-year-old Mamun Saeidah of Suisun.
The incident began around 3:45 Sunday morning when a police officer noticed two people sleeping in a running car. The officers checked the car and noticed the pipe and alcohol.

When a backup officer arrived, the sleeping pair was awakened. One of the officers spotted a pistol on the driver's floorboard. After the pair was handcuffed, the car was searched. That't when the second gun was found in a gun box on the backseat. Police also reportedly found a leaded cane.

Tito-Lopez was arrested for possession of a concealed firearm in vehicle, and carrying a loaded firearm.
Saeidah was arrested on several weapons charges, possession of drug paraphernalia, a probation violation, and driving a motor vehicle while his license suspended for driving under the influence.
