Berkeley Homicide Suspect Arrested in Burbank
Police believe he killed one person and stabbed another, leaving the second victim with serious wounds.

BERKELEY, CA —The suspect believed responsible for killing one person and stabbing another in Berkeley has been arrested in Southern California. Pablo Gomez Jr., 24, of North Hollywood, pictured above, was arrested by Burbank Police on Saturday.
Police say that a witness who saw him Friday reported that he had shaved his head, possibly in an effort to alter his appearance.
The murder victim was found at a residence on the 2400 block of Ashby Avenue. The victim has not been identified.

The stabbing victim, a woman, was found on the 2600 block of Ridge Road shortly before midnight on Friday. Her injuries are described as serious. She was taken to a hospital for treatment. The investigation into her stabbing led to the discovery of the body on Ashby Avenue.

Gomez is described a Hispanic male, 5'6, 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
