Maureen's Salon In Bayville Goes Out Of Business

Another longtime Bayville business has closed. Maureen's Precision Cuts — more commonly known as Maureen's Salon — has ended its business after about 18 years in operation, the establishment confirmed.

Maureen's Salon — located at 210 Ocean Gate Dr. — posted this note outside their window: "Maureen's Salon will be closing. Thank you for your years of loyal patronization. If you have any gift certificates, give me a call at 240-577-8084 and I will honor them. We are sorry for any inconvenience!"

The salon's closure comes on the heels of Blackbeard's Cave Arcade in Bayville announcing it will cease operations Feb. 3.
