Blackbeard's Cave's Spring Status Remains Uncertain
Bill's BBQ Shack will auction off arcade equipment and prizes Feb. 6.

Blackbeard's Cave Arcade will close, but Bill's BBQ Shack is not ready to announce updates regarding the rest of Blackbeard's Cave Family Entertainment Center. Bill's, which hosts the arcade in their establishment and has taken some responsibilities running the family center in recent months, will auction arcade equipment and prizes Feb. 6.
But Blackbeard's Cave is more than an arcade. The center features outdoor activities such as batting cages, bumper boats and mini golf. Blackbeard's would normally reopen these activities in the spring, but Bill's has not set anything in stone.
"We have a lot of changes coming with time," Bill's said on Facebook. "Right now, we’re not ready to make any announcements regarding our summer season. We will soon."

Bill's said they are looking for ways to fill the space Blackbeard's Cave Arcade will leave. The arcade posted a sign that they will close Feb. 3. Customers must use tokens and redeem tickets by the closing date, as they are non-refundable, the arcade announced.
