Disability Cultural Community (DCC) Center joins EJCE (berkeley.edu) — UC Berkeley's Disability Cultural Community Center is shifting under the Centers for Educational Justice & Community Engagement, aiming to better connect disabled students with Berkeley's broader network of community and resource centers. Accommodation services will still run through the Disabled Students' Program, while the DCC focuses on community-building, education, and belonging for Berkeley's disability community on and around campus.
   

2. Keysight, UC Berkeley Explore New Approach to 6G Wireless Testing (telecomreseller.com) — UC Berkeley's Wireless Research Center is teaming up with Keysight Technologies in Berkeley to develop faster, more flexible ways to test future 6G wireless devices. Their work on new over-the-air measurement techniques could eventually improve everything from consumer networks to advanced radar, showcasing cutting-edge engineering happening right in Berkeley's research labs.
   

3. UC Berkeley's Robotic Hand Learns to Crawl on Its Fingers Using AI (webpronews.com) — Researchers at UC Berkeley have taught a disembodied robotic hand to crawl on its fingers using AI, drawing global attention to a project based right here in town. By letting the system learn movement through trial and error, the team is exploring how robots can adapt in messy real-world environments and sparking conversation about our comfort with increasingly capable machines.
   

4. Clemson football vs Cal: Dabo Swinney, Tait Reynolds top photos (staugustine.com) — Cal football fans in Berkeley can relive Friday night's matchup against Clemson through a large photo gallery highlighting key plays at California Memorial Stadium. 5. Update: No resolution in LifeLong labor rift. A strike looms (berkeleyside.org) — LifeLong Medical Care providers, including staff at the West Berkeley clinic, are at a breaking point over pay and workload and are now voting on whether to strike as soon as Monday. A walkout could disrupt hundreds of East Bay appointments, while Berkeley doctors describe overwhelming patient loads and even signing death certificates for people they've never treated.
