
BERKELEY, CA -- A pedestrian died Tuesday morning when they were struck by a vehicle on eastbound Interstate Highway 80 just east of Ashby Avenue in Berkeley, according to California Highway Patrol officials. The fatal collision was reported at 1:41 a.m. and involved a white Dodge that struck the pedestrian who was walking in the right lane.
The driver called to report the collision, CHP officials said.
CHP officials confirmed that the pedestrian died in the collision.
