Road-Rage Suspect Sought
Two individuals told police the man allegedly punched one and drove his vehicle at the other after a confrontation on Ashby Avenue.

BERKELEY, CA – Police released photos Thursday of a suspect they're trying to identify who is wanted in connection with a road rage attack that occurred last week in Berkeley.
On Oct. 19, officers responded to a road rage report on Ashby Avenue around 5 p.m.
The victim had been driving east when his passenger yelled at an erratic driver behind the wheel of a late-model Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 with dealer plates.

When the victim came to a stop in traffic in the 2600 block of Ashby Avenue, the suspect pulled up next them, got out of his Mercedes and started punching the passenger through an open window.
Occupants in both cars then got out of their respective vehicles and an argument ensued. The suspect then got back into his car and attempted to leave, but the victim blocked his path and was knocked to the ground when
the driver pulled forward.

The victim suffered minor injuries and the suspect fled the scene heading east on Ashby.
The incident was recorded by people in another vehicle that stopped nearby, according to police.
The suspect was described as a white man between 45 and 50 years old with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a heavy build and a graying goatee and was last seen wearing a plaid shirt with jeans.
