Suspect Sought In Indecent Exposure Incident In Berkeley
A female victim snapped a photo of the alleged perpetrator near the city college campus.

BERKELEY, CA – The Berkeley Police Department is seeking a male suspected in an indecent exposure incident reported this week on Center Street.
A woman, a Berkeley City College student, told police that on Tuesday at approximately 4:45 p.m. as she parked her vehicle on the 1900 block of Center, she was approached by a "suspicious" man.
"Uncertain as to his intentions, she remained in the car," the department said. "She stated that he began to pace in front of her car while still staring at her. The victim became frightened and started her car when the suspect exposed himself to her and began masturbating."

The woman snapped a photograph of the suspect before driving away, police said.
The suspect, believed to frequent the Berkeley downtown and south campus areas, was described as a black male, with black hair, brown eyes and in his 40s. Police said he appeared to be unkempt, and was wearing black pants over orange sweatpants, a blue Cal sweatshirt and a green canvas jacket.
