Solano Stroll This Sunday In Berkeley, Albany

Solano Avenue will be closed to traffic as entertainment, food booths, makers and more take over the street.

BERKELEY, CA — The wildly popular Solano Stroll will be held this Sunday in Berkeley and Albany.

The Solano Stroll is one of the East Bay’s largest street festivals — spanning over one mile of Solano Avenue. The family friendly festival features hundreds of vendors from all over the region. According to the Solano Avenue Association website, "We feature over four hundred vendors including 50 entertainers, 25 food booths, 100 government and non-profit agencies, 100 artisans, jewelers, makers, and much more!"

The City of Berkeley is urging people to use mass transit to get to the Stroll. There is a free shuttle running from the North Berkeley BART station to Solano Avenue between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. For more information, see How to get to the Stroll.

The Solano Stroll is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Solano Avenue will be closed to through traffic from about 7 a.m. to about 7 p.m.
  • The festival spans Solano Avenue from San Pablo Avenue to The Alameda
  • AC transit will be re-routed to Marin Avenue from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
