Take a Look at This Photo: Berkeley Police Want to Solve His Murder

Adolfo Celedon was gunned down on a Berkeley street as he returned from celebrating his 35th birthday. He had recently moved from Chile.

BERKELEY, CA — On the sixth anniversary of the day when a Chilean man was killed on his 35th birthday as he walked down a Berkeley street, police today are again asking for the public's help to solve the crime.

Adolfo Celedon, who had recently relocated to Berkeley from Chile, was killed on Sept. 12, 2010.

Celedon and his fiancée had just left a party and were walking near Adeline and Emerson streets around 3:40 a.m. when two men approached them and attempted to rob them, police said.

During the robbery, the suspects shot Celedon and punched his fiancée in the face. The suspects then fled in a vehicle described as a dark older model SUV, according to police.

Berkeley police are offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects responsible for the fatal shooting.
