Tilden Nature Area Remains Closed As Most EB Regional Parks Reopen
The park district is still dealing with storm damage and water releases from recent storms.

BERKELEY, CA — While some East Bay parks have reopened following recent storms, others are still off-limits to the public while crews assess damage and clear debris, park officials said Wednesday.
Parks within the East Bay Regional Park District that remain closed until further notice are Anthony Chabot, Del Valle, Sunol Wilderness, Ohlone Wilderness and Tilden Nature Area.
There are another dozen trails or areas within reopened parks that are still closed, including the main entrance at Morgan Territory, where the only access is from Round Valley, according to the park district.

Park officials urge visitors to use caution when visiting parks due to saturated soils and other potential hazards.
At Del Valle Regional Park, located in Alameda County south of Livermore, the California Department of Water Resources said Wednesday that flood releases would continue at Lake Del Valle until Saturday.

The public should keep way from the Arroyo Valle area located downstream of the Del Valle Dam, the water agency said in a Twitter post on Wednesday.
