Two Arrested Berkeley In Connection Guns Found In Traffic Stop
Two men were arrested Tuesday after police reportedly discovered loaded and concealed firearms in their vehicle.

BERKELEY, CA — Early Tuesday morning, two men were arrested after a Berkeley police officer reportedly found a gun in their vehicle, police wrote in a statement. The two men were pulled over in their car after police said the driver failed to come to a complete stop at several signal lights.
The driver, a 30-year-old Berkeley man, and the passenger, a 33-year-old Sacramento man, were arrested on suspicion of carrying a loaded and concealed firearm. The passenger was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a handgun, police said.
The officer was patrolling the area of Kittredge Street and Fulton Street around 12:20 a.m. when the officer spotted the vehicle. After stopping the car, the officer saw a bottle of alcohol in the center cup holder. The driver was also unlicensed, police said.
