On Valentine’s Day, Sunday, February 14, Gather in Berkeley will be open from 5:00 to 9:30 PM serving their regular menu plus a la carte specials including house burrata with Dirty Girl beets and bee pollen ($18.00); hay smoked kabiyaki short ribs glazed in a pepper corn sauce with cauliflower mousse and carrot ribbons ($28.00); and black cod bouillabaisse with Penn Cove mussels and Manila clams ($30.00). There will also be a cocktail special in the spirit of the occasion, the Painted Lips with gin, crème de cassis, lime, egg white, Bolivar bitters and pink peppercorn ($12.00).
