Woman Robbed in Berkeley: Juvenile Arrested But One Suspect Gets Away
Both the victim and a witness followed the accused robbers.

BERKELEY, CA —Police are seeking a suspect who allegedly robbed a female victim Monday night in Berkeley, police said.
According to University of California at Berkeley police, at 9:15 p.m. two male suspects allegedly robbed the victim of her property at the intersection of Bancroft Way and Piedmont Avenue. The victim was not injured,
police said.
The victim and a witness followed the suspects and saw one of them flee in a newer-model four-door sedan, leaving the second suspect behind, police said.

A responding officer located the witness and second suspect in the 2700 block of Channing Way.
The suspect, a juvenile, was arrested after being identified by the victim and witnesses. His name is not being released.

The suspect who fled in the vehicle is described as a male in his teens wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, police said.
