Woman's Cell Phone Stolen On UC Berkeley Campus

BERKELEY, CA — A woman had her Google Pixel 3 phone stolen Tuesday afternoon on the University of California at Berkeley campus, according to university police.

The woman was walking west on the path between California Hall and Moffitt Library around 2:25 p.m. and texting when a person ran up from behind her and snatched the phone from her.

Police said the suspect was last seen running south and then west between California Hall and Durant Hall. Police said the victim wasn't injured.

Police didn't find the suspect.
