• Tristin's Bill Signed into Law After Fatal Highway 74 Collision in Palm Desert (mynewsla.com) — A new state law inspired by a deadly Highway 74 crash near Palm Desert will force Caltrans to justify rejections of local traffic safety proposals, potentially affecting drivers from Bermuda Dunes and across the Coachella Valley. Backed by Assemblyman Greg Wallis of Bermuda Dunes, the measure targets hazardous conditions and heavy truck traffic on Highway 74 to reduce collisions and save lives.
