BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Smashed windows. Smoldering cop cars. Spray-painted threats that were made good on.

Saturday, May 30 is a day that will forever live in infamy in Beverly Hills. What began as a peaceful protest over the in-custody death of George Floyd, in which a Minneapolis police officer is now accused of murder, took a nasty turn into looting, vandalism, arrests, and tear gas being sprayed on civilians.

Rodeo Drive stores were raided. Baseball bats smashed the windows of businesses that had just opened up days before.
