Beverly Hills Perfume-Theft Suspect Found Rummaging Through Trash: Police

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — A person suspected of stealing perfume from a Beverly Hills business Monday night was arrested after officers located the person rummaging through a nearby trash bin, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.

Battery arrest, 6:21 p.m. May 8

"A ride-share driver reported being assaulted by one of his passengers. Thanks to the quick response of our dedicated Virtual Patrol Officers and the drone operator, we located the suspect nearby and took him into custody. The suspect was later cited and released," police wrote.

Battery arrest, 7 p.m. May 8

"A gas station employee called to report a suspect had punched him in the head. Our officers wasted no time in locating the suspect and his vehicle just a few blocks away. The suspect was arrested and booked without incident," police wrote.

DUI arrest, 2:44 a.m. May 9

"An officer conducted a traffic stop and noticed signs of intoxication in the driver. The driver was ultimately arrested for DUI and consented to a blood draw," police wrote.

Drug arrest, 4 a.m. May 9

"During a routine traffic stop, one of our officers discovered a bicyclist with illegal drugs and related paraphernalia. The bicyclist was issued a citation and released in the field," police wrote.
