Thieves Steal High-End Wigs Made For Cancer Patients From Beverly Hills Store: Reports

Several people broke into Wig Fairy Tuesday night and made off with thousands worth of high-end wigs, according to reports.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Thieves stole thousands of dollars worth of high-end wigs from a Beverly Hills store Tuesday, according to reports.

Surveillance cameras captured several people breaking into Wig Fairy on La Cienega Boulevard late Tuesday night. The footage shows the thieves removing human-hair wigs off their stands and leaving with the merchandise within two minutes, NBC Los Angeles reported.

The store's owner says many of her clientele are people who are experiencing hair loss due to cancer treatments, according to reports.

“They come to us and say, 'Please make me look like myself. The last thing I need is — I don’t want people to give me pity. I don’t want people to know I am wearing wigs,” owner Mona Zargar told NBC Los Angeles.
