Blog: Join Beverly Hills' Annual Walk-and-Gawk Dec. 26
This is the third year the group walks the business triangle, promoting car-free transit.

By Wednesday I'm sure we'll all be full of holiday stuffing. I can't think of a better way to get a jump on your New Year's resolution than to join Ellen Lutwak and her group from Walk Beverly Hills in their third annual "Walk-and-Gawk".
Lutwak wrote, "For me, it's an excuse to get together in real life with friends—real and Facebook friends. Beverly Hills is so much more pleasant when you walk to do your errands, and this walk is an example of how far you go in such a short time!"
The event will start at 5:30 p.m. at Beverly Cañon Gardens in front of Bar Bouchon. We will be walking the triangle "gawking" at the store windows and displays. Martin Pack, Neiman Marcus' visual director, will give an exclusive look into how their holiday windows were conceived.

The walk will be about an hour and a half. If you need it, there is a two-hour free city parking lot with entrances on Cañon or Beverly. The Facebook page for the event is here.
The group usually ends up having a well-earned little something at Bar Bouchon after the walk. Because after all, while it's nice to get a jump on those resolutions, it's not New Year's yet...
