Classic Cars Shine at Greystone Mansion Concours d'Elegance 2012

A B-17 flyover kicked off Beverly Hills' Concours d'Elegance 2012 car show held Sunday at the .

Spotted in the crowd were Jay Leno, showing his 1917 Fiat Botafogo Special; major Los Angeles car collector and Petersen Automotive Museum board member David Sydorick, who took home "Best of Show" for his 1932 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300; Bruce Meyer, who won the "Hammer Speed & Design" award for his 1963 Chevrolet Corvette; attorney Bob Cohen, who showed his 1965 Ferrari 500 Superfast; and Winston Goodfellow, an author, photographer and 20-plus year judge at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance event.

On Saturday night during the Concours d'Elegance pre-party, Loro Piana donated prizes that were raffled off by former Beverly Hills Mayor and current Councilman Barry Brucker and fellow Councilman Dr. Julian Gold. Scarpetta catered the cocktail reception with champagne from Moet Chandon. The spectacle of the reception was definitely the red wine table, a rotating table with a bartender standing in the middle.

Sponsors of the car show included Angeleno magazine, the Gooding and Company Classic Car Auction, the Auto Gallery, O'Gara Coach, the Petersen Automotive Museum, the Dina Collection on South Beverly Drive and more.

The Greystone Mansion has long been preserved and funded by the Friends of Greystone since its transfer from private hands to the city of Beverly Hills in 1965.
