BLOG: Jazz Wednesdays at Beverly Hills Market
The local institution features live jazz and lunch specials on their patio from 12-2 p.m. every Wednesday.
We all know the as the place to get our sundries and staples, the place with the great wine and cheese selections, or the place to pick up a tasty lunch on the fly. But did you know that on Wednesdays between noon and 2 p.m. it's a jazz club?
Owner Sean Saeedian came up with the idea to "smooth out the rough edges of your hump day" by staging "Jazzy-Q" on their patio weekly, with special lunch treats barbecued patio-side.
I admit to being a fan of the daily hot lunch specials, a bargain at $3.99. The patio itself features shaded tables and is separated from the street by lush plantings. It is a nice place to stop and relax on a warm summer day.

When asked how long "Jazzy-Q" will continue, Saeedian said that they will go on as long as we have the weather to keep it up, adding "the people really seem to love it."
Beverly Hills Market is at the corner of Dayton Way and North Crescent Drive. There is one-hour free parking in the parking structure adjacent (access from Dayton way gives direct access to the market; there's also an entrance on Crescent.)
