Countdown to Graduation: Jason Bellet

Meet Beverly Hills High School senior Jason Bellet.

What is your favorite high school memory? My favorite high school memory was this year's spring musical, Curtains. I loved every moment, from auditions to closing night, because the cast and crew were so amazing; they are the most talented and funny group of people I have ever met. I also really enjoyed making my friends and family laugh while playing the role of Oscar Shapiro, the comedic financial backer.

What will you miss most? I am going to miss feeling like school is a second home. Hopefully I will feel that way about my college. Beverly has been such a welcoming and comfortable environment for these last four years that it's hard to say goodbye. I'll certainly miss seeing my best friends every day, especially my musical and ASB [Associated Student Body] families. I'm also going to miss the incredible faculty and staff.

What are your plans for next year? I am going to UC Berkeley. Go Bears! Although it will be a big transition from Beverly to Cal, I am really looking forward to starting college. I am entering as an "undecided," but I'm planning to double major in political science and performance studies.
