Crescent Financial Partners Expands

In an effort to find new investment opportunities, Crescent Financial Partners Inc., a Beverly Hills-based private equity merchant banking firm, has opened a new office at the Innovation Center in Riverside.

Crescent is a private equity merchant banking firm, focused on early stage and middle market opportunities. The company is a principal investor, providing project and growth funding, business development expertise, and strategic and financial guidance.

"We are excited to be laying a foundation to support these entrepreneurs, give them guidance, and to provide the necessary capital to foster growth within the region," Russell Armstrong, founder and managing director of Crescent Financial Partners, said in a statement. "Inland Southern California is an untapped and burgeoning market for emerging and innovative investment opportunities."

In the coming months, the company will review investment opportunities, provide strategic planning and business development expertise to startups and innovators, and provide funding with the goal of accelerating innovation development activities within the Riverside and San Bernardino counties, Armstrong said.

Crescent's home office is located at the intersection of San Vicente and Wilshire boulevards, which is technically just over the border in Los Angeles but the firm considers itself a Beverly Hills company.
