DUI Checkpoint Planned For Beverly Hills
A DUI checkpoint is planned for Beverly Hills this month.
BEVERLY HILLS, CA — The Beverly Hills Police Department will ramp up drunken-driving enforcement on St. Patrick's Day with a planned DUI checkpoint.
DUI checkpoint locations target areas with a record of impaired driving-related crashes and arrests. Police will also be checking to ensure drivers are properly licensed, according to the BHPD.
“Impaired drivers put others on the road at significant risk,” Chief Mark G. Stainbrook said. “Any preventative measures that reduce the number of impaired drivers on our roads significantly improve traffic safety.”
