Fire Breaks Out At Pico-Robertson Home

A fire broke out at a Pico-Robertson home Monday morning.

LOS ANGELES, CA — It took firefighters 12 minutes to extinguish a fire that broke out at a home in Pico-Robertson Monday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire was reported at 10:15 a.m. on the 1700 block of South Shenandoah Street. At the property, crews encountered smoke coming from the one-story, single-family house and found flames in a rear bedroom, according to the LAFD.

After crews extinguished the blaze, firefighters remained on scene to ensure it had not spread to other parts of the home, the LAFD said.
