Homeless Encampments Grow Along San Vincente Boulevard: Report
Residents and business owners in Beverly Hills say the growing problem along the city border is affecting their quality of life.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — A naked woman seen lying on an abandoned couch at a homeless encampment bordering Beverly Hills has provoked the ire of residents and business owners who say the growing encampments are threatening the quality of life in Beverly Hills as nearby Los Angeles allows the problem to grow, KTLA reported.
The encampments in the area of San Vincente Boulevard and Orlando Avenue are close to the Beverly Center, and some business owners told KTLA they are frightening away their customers.
Soon after taking office, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass declared a state of emergency, allowing her to issue directives and take more aggressive actions to address the crisis.
