The siren you heard was just a drill! Beverly Hills tested its wildfire evacuation and outdoor warning system Wednesday morning.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Don't worry, Beverly Hills, that siren you heard was just a drill!

The City of Beverly Hills tested its new outdoor warning system for wildfire evacuations and other emergencies Wednesday at 10 a.m.

At that time, a siren sounded at Greystone Mansion, located at 905 Loma Vista Drive.

The drill was just a test of the audible systems. There was also be a virtual meeting Wednesday at 6 p.m. to discuss the new warning system, which you can watch on the city's website.
