Man Rescued In Bel Air After Being Struck By A Rock

The Los Angeles Fire Department rescued a man in Bel Air Wednesday after he was struck by a rock on a hillside.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — The Los Angeles Fire Department rescued a man by helicopter after he was struck by a rock on a steep hillside, causing non-life threatening leg injuries, LAFD said.

The man was performing brush clearance 200 feet down a hillside on Bel Air Road when a rock hit him from behind, LAFD said. It is unknown whether the man was contracted for the brush clearing. The incident occurred around 8:28 a.m.

Helicopters are bringing the man to a hospital, the department said.
